Aldo Bianchi

Born in Milan in 1956. From an artistic family: his father painter introduces him to the world of writing with light. The paintings of Caravaggio and Fattori mark his gaze in an indelible way.

He starts taking pictures in the early 70s. Towards the end of the 90s he collaborates as freelance with the magazines TuttoTurismo and Meridiani with reportages from Europe, Turkey, Singapore and Cuba. Here he returns, several times, to refine the anthropological research that ends with the publication of the book "Santeros", welcomed at the University of Havana (Prof. Lázara Menéndez) and at the cultural center "Casa del Caribe" of Santiago de Cuba. In 2014 he presents the book "ˇPelota!" in Rome and in 2017 the exhibition "Bailar es Vivir" with the cultural patronage of the Embassy of Cuba in Italy.

Member of the International Dance Council, CID (UNESCO). At the center of his research there is always The Man
