ROME, CITTA' ETERNA - One day photography tour

All year - 6 hrs, start time on demand/seasonal.

Discover and shoot the magnificent city of Rome from the right angle with the best timing in the daylight. Our professional photographer Daniele Bellucci, who was born and has lived in Rome all his life, will take your hand and lead you in this one day photography adventure. Destinations are selected carefully based on their east and west ward location in the city and the lifelong experience of our photographer. He has taken thousands of photos from each of these locations and will give you a 360 degrees description of shots on each side of these monuments, statues, churches and squares (piazza), and fountains (Fontana) in diverse lighting situations both during the daylight and the night. He will explain the best shooting techniques for each situation. It will definitely be an unforgettable photo adventure resulting in Wonderfull photos! The tour starts around 9am in front of Piazza san Pietro (other starts are also possible by according). Because it is oriented towards the east and the best photos can be taken in the beautiful fresh light of the morning. The next stops will be Piazza Pia, and the Sant’Angelo castle with a fantastic angle across the ancient bridge close to it. From Castle Sant’Angelo we’ll go to Piazza Navona (Fountain of the Four Rivers and church of Sant’Agnese) and after that to Pantheon where we will definitely visit and shoot before lunch. Lunch break (not included) will be in Rione Regola district with its narrow winding streets and traditional craft shops, or the Ghetto Ebraico across from the Rione Regola. The historical Jewish (Ebraico) Ghetto dates back to 1555, when Pope Paul IV restricted all Jews to a small area of the city. Our photographer has recently published a reportage from the district and will show you some of the amazing hidden corners of this area after lunch. In the afternoon, we will arrive at Piazza Venezia just to go to Fontana di Trevi; the best exposition of this fountain is the middle morning or early middle afternoon. Close to the fountains is Piazza di Spagna. It is difficult to find the right light to shoot the water fountain in Piazza Spagna because depending on the season through the narrow streets, the sunlight arrives in a specific moment and remains there very shortly; anyway, we hope to catch the perfect moment in this beautiful square. Piazza Trinità dei Monti is up the stairs in Spagna square however against the sun in the afternoon; we would probably prefer to stay down and enjoy shooting the church and the buildings. By 5 pm, we will have come back to piazza Venezia to go to Piazza del Campidoglio and balcony with its fantastic view of the Roman forum and Colosseum in the background, and after that we’ll go down to Via dei Fori Imperiali that runs in a straight line from the Piazza Venezia to the Colosseum. Campidoglio is best shot in the low sun. Our sunset photos will be taken in Trajan's Market, a large complex of ruins located on the Via dei Fori Imperiali, at the opposite end to the Colosseum. Finally, our adventure will finish at Colosseum, with the view from a bridge over Via degli Annnibaldi. ...

BEST OF MILAN - One day photography tour

All year - 6 hrs, start time on demand/seasonal.

The "Best of Milan" photographic tour lasting about 6 hours - lunch break excluded - is a complete itinerary that contains the most iconic spots of the "economic capital of Italy", but will also surprise you with hidden glimpses that only a Milanese professional photographer can know and illustrate you. We will start from Piazza Gae Aulenti with its glittering skyscrapers and its “Bosco Verticale”: the most modern and futuristic face of Milan, crystal and steel fused together in a great harmony of shapes. After photographing this huge skyline we will move away ... and immediately time will seem to run backwards: from the fashionable Corso Como, beyond Piazza XXV Aprile, the life of Corso Garibaldi unfolds. Here we immediately encounter the fifteenth-century Incoronata church, with its characteristic double façade, and then continue after Moscova, meeting two other venerable basilicas: the early Christian San Simpliciano, founded when Milan was the capital of the Roman Empire; the more recent Santa Maria del Carmine, with its beautiful churchyard. All three, a triumph of Lombard red brick, of ancient tradition. We are now in Brera: this is an area that has not lost its ancient nineteenth century appearance, surprising in a city devoted to business and modernity: via san Carpoforo, via Fiori chiari, via Formentini, via Madonnina ... streets with an ancient charm behind the facades of luxurious buildings. The next step will be in Parco Sempione, Milan's “Central Park”: huge, adored by the Milanese, full of hidden corners and spectacular views, it will be a naturalistic break in an almost completely urban itinerary. Later we will stop in two iconic churches: Santa Maria delle Grazie, famous for hosting Leonardo da Vinci's “Ultima Cena” (internal visit available on request and subject to availability of seats) and San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore, the "Sistine Chapel" of Milan, that will leave you speechless for the richness of its internal frescoes. The "grand finale" will naturally be dedicated to Piazza del Duomo (internal visit available on request and subject to availability of seats) and to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele: two very famous and super-photographed spots, but which you can then discover from angles that ordinary tourists ignore. An intense photographic day, as intense will be the emotions that our professional photographers will make you live. ...
