For those of you who will arrive more days before and want to visit Venice, we can provide a photo tour in the city of Venice. Please contact us for further informations.

DAY 1 - Cortina d’Ampezzo & Triple "U": Passo Giau, ref. Averau, ref. Nuvolau
We will pick up the group around 9-9.30 a.m. at Venice’s Piazzale Roma and/or Venice airport. From Venice we will have a 2,5 hrs drive northwards in our private 9-seats minivan towards the Dolomites and our first destination, the famous olympic town of Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Time for check-in, lunch. In the early afternoon, we will move to Passo Giau, through a spectacular road full of hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists. From ref. Salere will take the chairlift to the ref. Averau. Prepare yourself for a fantastic dolomite breeze and a dominant view of several dolomite peaks from the refuge which makes this fairytale place a popular destination for photographers and nature lovers. (A webcam view of the Rifugio Averau is available at https://www.rifugioaverau.it/en/webcam/ and https://www.rifugioaverau.it/en/ ).
From ref. Averau a medium 40 minute hike will bring us to ref. Nuvolau (mt. 2550). The view from above is breathtaking, in any conditions of light. You will admire astonishing peaks like Ra Gusela, all the Tofane, Marmolada. Time for photos and rest, maybe an appetizer.
Trekking our way back to the Rifugio Averau, we will take the chairlift down to Passo Giau to get sunset photos of the quiet dolomite mountain peaks, made up of infinite shades of lights. Finally we will have our dinner in a famous restaurant of Passo Giau area - Aurelio’s - before getting back to the hotel in Cortina for some rest.

    DAY 2 - Cortina d’Ampezzo, Cinque Torri & Lagazuoi
The adventure of Day 2 starts from Cortina d’Ampezzo in the morning. After a 30 minute drive through the winding roads of the Dolomites, we will arrive at Cinque Torri. After a chairlift up to ref. Scoiattoli, we will spend the morning taking photos of these sharp rocky peaks; their particular shape along with the occasional mist that covers them has always been extremely interesting for the photographers.
Time for lunch at ref. Scoiattoli. After lunch, we will take a 15 mins drive to Falzarego-Lagazuoi. The particular characteristic of this amazing location is the possibility to have a view of the whole range of mountains around. To reach ref. Lagazuoi, in the top of Mount Lagazuoi (2800+ mts of altitude) we will take the cable car. Again, an unforgettable view will be offered to your eyes and cameras.
Down from Lagazuoi we will move to our spot for sunset photos: Lago Limides (40+40 mins easy hike), Valparola pass, Passo Giau again… a lot of possibilities are available !
Dinner and night in Cortina d’Ampezzo.

DAY 3 - Misurina Lake & The Tre Cime
We will get up early in the morning, before sunrise. We will have a short car trip to Lago di Misurina, and Lago Antorno, two alpine lakes surrounded by a beautiful evergreen forest, where we will take marvelous sunrise photos of the mountains and trees as reflected in the lakes.
After, we will be back to the hotel to have breakfast, take some rest, maybe some shopping time in Cortina and prepare ourselves for a day-long shooting.
In the afternoon, we will move to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo which is the symbol of the Dolomites. A 1,5 hour medium difficult trek will lead us to the Tre Cime Area. Trekking shoes are necessary, water and trekking sticks (upon request) provided by organization. These three rocky peaks of the Dolomites are made up of limestone and are subject to unique photos especially in the smooth sunset light. The Tre Cime di Lavaredo is famous for the spectacle of colors, from pale gray to fiery red, which offer moments of magic and indelible sensations.
Possible mountain dinner in ref. Locatelli - Tre Cime area - before sunset or we will provide for you a very late dinner once in Cortina.
We will be back to the hotel after the sunset shoots (frontal torches provided by organization), upon request it will also be possible a night shooting / Milky Way photo session in Tre Cime (in this case dinner possible only at ref. Locatelli).
    Night in Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Day 4 - Braies Lake & Alpe di Siusi
After an early breakfast in the hotel and check out, we will keep our suitcases in the van and head to Lago di Braies (40 mins by car), the largest natural lake in the Dolomites. The emerald color of the lake in summer as well as the nostalgic rowing boats of a hundred year ago offer a lot to photographic iconic spots. There will be a walk around the lake as well. Visitors are always fascinated by the incomparable beauty of the nature of this small pearl in the heart of the dolomites.
After shots at the lake, with a short drive we will arrive in Prato Piazza: an alp that extends to 2,000 m a.s.l. which offers a breathtaking view of Picco di Vallandro and Croda Rossa. The colors of nature that change with the seasons fascinate photographers. It is a wonderful corner “one step under the sky” where you can relax and live in close contact with nature. Time for shots and lunch.
Then we will have a 2 hour drive among the beautiful mountain roads to arrive at Alpe di Siusi. Check-in at the hotel.
Alpe di Siusi, the largest plateau in Europe offers endless spots ideal for photo shoots. You will probably stop to take pictures every meter! Here the Sassolungo peak dominates the scene. Spectacular landscapes and fresh air are guaranteed! The photography adventure will not end by sunset since there will also be night shots of the beautiful innocent mountain sky.
Afternoon, sunset and night shots, dinner and night in Alpe di Siusi.

Day 5 - Alpe di Siusi & Funes Valley
Early sunrise shoot in Alpe di Siusi, then breakfast and rest in the hotel followed by a one hour car drive to the Funes Valley and where we will be shooting photos for the rest of the day. We will go to the St Maddalena church , St Johann, to capture a famous chapel that is a photographic location subjecting many beautiful shots in the past.
The Odle is another panorama that you absolutely cannot miss during your stay in the dolomites.
After the sunset we will go back to Alpe di Siusi to our hotel for dinner and night

    Day 6 - Ortisei & Seceda
After an early breakfast we will head for Ortisei, Val Gardena (40 mins by car). This area is a real paradise for mountain lovers. We will try to pass by as many photographic spots as possible in this region even if the wealth of beauties and views is such that choosing just a few seems impossible!
We will then take the cable car to Seceda. Taking photos of the breathtaking mountain panorama and having lunch, we will come down to go to Passo Sella. There is a fantastic view of the peaks like Marmolada from Passo Sella. We will either stay in Passo Sella for the sunset shots or go to the San Giacomo Church. If you are looking for a spot for a fairytale photo, surely the church of San Giacomo is the ideal place. It is the oldest in the valley with the postcard image. The site can be reached by several paths in the woods, both from Ortisei and from Santa Cristina.
We will be back to our hotel in Alpe Di Siusi for dinner and night.

Day 7 - Tires Valley, Carezza lake & back to Venice
We will have our last sunrise shots in Alpe di Siusi somewhere close to our hotel, and after the breakfast and check out, we will drive to the Tires Valley (one hour drive), and Pass Nigra; then we will have a 1.5 hike to Malga Hangar where we will have perfect view of the two mountains of Rosengarten (Catinaccio), and Latemar. After lunch, we will hike back to Pass Nigra. After a 20 minute drive, we will arrive at our last stop, lake Carezza. You’ll experience the amazing blue of its waters, reflecting Dolomites peaks around.
